Property Description

There are places you discover, and then there are places that seem to discover you. Hidden away on the quiet shores of Skull Lake, this is the kind of retreat that feels a world away from everything. Follow the winding driveway through the trees and the pace of life begins to change. The noise fades. The air feels different. There is time hereto linger over coffee, swim until the sun begins to fall, paddle across still water, or sit beneath the trees and simply listen. The current owners have created a collection of spaces that feel wonderfully unconventional and full of possibility. A beautifully renovated bus/camper, complete with power and water, offers a cozy place to settle in and make summer memories. Outdoor appliances make it easy to embrace a simpler way of living, where meals are enjoyed in the open air and evenings unfold naturally beneath the stars. Tucked among the trees, a gazebo waits for your imagination and finishing touches. Near the water, a charming bunkie offers its own little worlda quiet place to read, nap, watch the lake or disappear with a good book for an afternoon. And then there is the lake itself. Skull Lake is peaceful and private, with the kind of stillness that is increasingly hard to find. Swim, kayak, explore, or sit at the waters edge as the light changes across the surface. (id:7434)
